Maître Albert Apartment Description
Who says you have to spend an arm and a leg to have a perfect Paris experience? This adorable studio makes
Paris affordable to anyone, and provides arguably the premiere location in the city. If you are a low-maintenance
traveler and want to spend your time sight-seeing, you'll love this studio. Comfortable beds are required, and we
can attest to these "clic-clac" beds having thick, comfortable mattresses, which are a must after a long day of
sightseeing. You'll also have a full-sized bathtub in the bathroom to soak your tootsies, as well as a shower
option, too. You'll also have a small table for those who chose to dine in on occasion, and a small refrigerator
(with a freezer section just big enough for an ice tray!) will keep all your snacks and beverages ready for when
you have the munchies. The studio faces the narrow street of rue Maître Albert, but you'll find it quiet when the
windows are closed. The studio has an area for hanging clothing as well as room to store your suitcases, too.

In the Neighborhood: Most of the "biggies" in Paris sightseeing are within a 5-10 minute walk: Notre Dame, the
Latin Quarter, the Pantheon, shopping on rue de Rivoli and the BHV department store. Walk about 15 minutes
and you'll find yourself touring the Louvre, Luxembourg gardens and St. Germain-des-Prés.
If you're hungry: Along the way, you'll find restaurants for every budget, from master chef Guy Savoy's Atelier
de Matîre Albert and Le Reminet just up the street, to a casual crepe place, Creposuk, and The Long Hop sports
bar just around the corner. You'll also discover a fresh food market every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday just
at the end of the street at Place Maubert. And of course, there's a supermarket, Franprix, just around the corner
and across the street on rue Lagrange.

Hop on the Métro
The studio is located within walking distance to many of the major tourists sites. However, if you want to take
the métro, you'll find yourself just down the street from métro stop
Maubert-Mutualite on Métro Line 10 and
a 5-minute walk from
St. Michel on Métro Line 4. At St. Michel, you can also pick up the RER B, which takes
you to and from Charles de Gaulle Airport.

Don't Miss the Bus
This apartment is well served by several bus lines at Place Maubert. You can pick up bus lines 24, 63, 86, 87,
and 47
, just to name a few. Folks arriving on the Eurostar from London can jump on the 47 and be dropped
off just near the apartment. Use the
63 bus to get to the Musée d'Orsay or the Eiffel Tower. With so many
options, you can be sure there's an easy transportation solution to any location from this apartment.

Meet the Owners
Although they've traveled the world together, John and  Jeannine have a special love for Paris. They purchased
this studio on their favorite street in the city, rue Maître Albert. It's served their family well, but they would now
like to offer it to others who want to explore Paris from what they feel is the best location in the city.
