Welcome to our intimate, peaceful hideaway tucked inside a typical Parisian building, just beside the front slope of
Montmartre and the bright lights of the Moulin Rouge. Within a two-minute walk you'll find the market street rue
Lepic and cafes and shopping on rue des Abesses. The area is bursting with boulangeries, greengrocers,
restaurants and cafes. A two-minute walk also leads you to two metro stops and several bus stops, which will
fromageries, boucheries, wine vendors and flower shops, as well several modern grocery stores, and dozens of
take you anywhere in Paris quickly and easily. This airy studio has high ceilings (3 meters high!) and large
windows, opening out onto a small, private terrace (photo with red umbrella shows the terrace and furniture).
The terrace is the perfect escape for a relaxing break from the city and a glass of wine in the afternoon! The
apartment sleeps 2-4 adults, with a high-quality double bed in the bedroom nook and an deluxe double sofabed
designed for daily use. The bedroom area also has plenty of storage (behind the white curtain in the photo) for
both hanging and folding clothing, and the curtains in front close for privacy. The large eat-in kitchen features full-
size appliances (four-burner stove, oven, clothes washer/dryer, refrigerator with freezer) and accesses the
courtyard and bathroom. NOTE: The kitchen has a new dining table with four chairs - not pictured yet. The
modern bathroom has a sink, vanity area with storge, toilet and is equipped with a large bathtub with shower.

In the Neighborhood
Explore the the 9th and you'll quickly see the mix of funky and trendy - check out Le Carmen just up the street if
you're feeling like you want to dress up, or head over to the new neighborhood gastro-bistro that's got all the
buzz,
Le Pantrouche. Head further downhill and head to shopping heaven at Galleries Lafayette and Printemps.
Now walk uphill just two-minutes from the apartment and you'll reach rue Lepic, and frankly, you could come here
everyday and never grow tired of its shops and energy. Filled with cafés, boulangeries, green grocers, cheese
shops, a butcher, a fish monger and a wine shop, you're free to experience every foodie adventure you can
imagine. On the practical side, you also have two supermarkets, a pharmacy, and several cash machines on rue
Lepic. And that's just the tip of the iceberg, for as you walk uphill on rue Lepic and make a right on rue des
Abbesses, you'll find the Parisian dream continues, as you wind your way through the picturesque streets of
Montmartre, filled with boutiques and, of course, more food shops, cafés and restaurants.
For families: Just at the end of the block you'll find the charming Square Berlioz, with a park and cafes
surrounding it. If your little ones need to expend some energy, this sweet little park is the perfect place!

Hop on the Métro
Your closest stop is Blanche on Métro line 2, but just a quick walk out the door and to the left is the Place de
Clichy
stop on Métro line 13. The 2 line heads west before curving south to the Champs Élysées. In the other
direction, it drops you at the foot of Pére Lachaise cemetery.
The 13 line will take you south toward the Champs
Elysees and Les Invalides (connect here to go to Versailles) or north to the unforgettable St. Denis Basilica.

Don't Miss the Bus
Take a 1-minute walk from the apartment on rue Blanche and you can pick up the 68 or 74 bus. On the 68 bus,
you'll head south on a direct route to Galleries Lafayette, Printemps and the Opéra Garnier, across the river and
to a stop that drops you within yards of Musée d’Orsay. Or, try the
74 bus, which makes it easy to get to sites
in the old center of the city, including Notre Dame and the trendy Marais. The end of this line leaves you right at
the river - Hotel de Ville - so just ride this bus until they tell you to get off! What could be easier?

Meet the Owners
Paula and Darrin, co-founders of Frenchy Rentals, have owned this apartment since 2003, fulfilling a dream of
Parisian home-ownership. The apartment has been renovated since purchasing it, including adding the little
bedroom nook! Paula still lives in the neighborhood in a slightly larger studio, but enjoys sharing her home with
travelers and greeting them when they come to Paris!
