What a find: A sixth-floor (with lift), two-bedroom apartment with a balcony overlooking a park! This apartment is great for families and couples, offering space, light and modern furnishings for a wonderful vacation in Paris. The apartment features a high-quality queen bed in the master bedroom, and two twin beds in the second bedroom which can be combined to make a king-sized bed upon request. Both bedrooms offer plenty of storage with built-in modern closets. The bathroom features a shower/tub combo, sink, vanity and storage, and the WC other guests, as all rooms are accessible off the main hallway of the apartment. The kitchen has been completely remodeled with full-sized appliances and has all you'll need to enjoy preparing meals at home with wonderful produce, fish, meat and cheese found in the neighborhood at local traiteurs, and has a table in the kitchen for enjoying family meals.
Speaking of families, the park across the street at Square Carpeaux is a delight if traveling with little ones, or a calm place for travelers to rest up between sightseeing. The owners have purchaed a travel crib suitable for children under two years old to offer guests at no extra charge, as well as a light-weight umbrella stroller, available upon request at no extra charge. This apartment is located just a few doors down from Marcadet I, which is handy if you are traveling with a large group or extended family and need two nearby apartments.

Tucked away in a quiet residential section of Montmartre, you'll have a home-base in Paris that offers much to discover, yet is also easily accessible to all of the major tourist attractions of Paris. Plenty of cafes and fewer tourists will give you a real taste of Parisian daily life. If you're traveling with kids, this is a great apartment for families, with a park just across the street on rue Marcadet, and a second one down the street on rue Marcadet in the other direction! The immediate neighborhood is filled with families and the building is generally quiet at night.
Parisian life greets you in every direction! Visit the local wine shop and green grocer, cheese shop, florist and even Chinese take-out -- just steps away on rue Damremont. Rue Damremont is also home to a wonderful award-winning bakery, Delmontel. For simpler needs, you'll find a Franprix supermarket just down the street on rue Marcadet and a larger Monoprix supermarket around the corner.
For more fresh food choices, head to Avenue de Saint Ouen for a full market street open daily, or try the twice-a-week market on rue Ordener near rue Championet. Rue de Poteau is also a wonderful market street with real village atmopshere. Don't forget to try the boulangerie on the corner of rue Ordener and rue Montcalm - winner of the 2012 best baguette in Paris!

About the Owners
This apartment is owned by Irish couple Brian and Sandra, who are Paris and France addicts! Rue Marcadet is one of their favorite streets in Paris, and they call it home as often as possible throughout the year. They've decorated the apartments themselves, with a comfortable, modern look, and hope you find it welcoming on your upcoming trip to Paris.
