Neighborhood

Tucked away in a quiet residential section of Montmartre, you'll have a home-base in Paris that offers much to discover, yet is also easily accessible to all of the major tourist attractions of Paris. Plenty of cafes and fewer tourists will give you a real taste of Parisian daily life. If you're traveling with kids, this is a great apartment for families, with a park just across the street on rue Marcadet, and a second one down the street on rue Marcadet in the other direction! The immediate neighborhood is filled with families and the building is generally quiet.

Shopping

Parisian life greets you in every direction! Visit the local wine shop and green grocer, cheese shop, florist and even Chinese take-out -- just steps away on rue Damremont. Rue Damremont is also home to a wonderful award-winning bakery, Delmontel. For simpler needs, you'll find a Franprix supermarket just down the street on rue Marcadet and a larger Monoprix supermarket around the corner.

For more fresh food choices, head to Avenue de Saint Ouen for a full market street open daily, or try the twice-a-week market on rue Ordener near rue Championet. Rue de Poteau is also a wonderful market street with real village atmopshere. Don't forget to try the boulangerie on the corner of rue Ordener and rue Montcalm - winner of the 2012 best baguette in Paris!

About the Owners

French owner Fabrice purchased this apartment at the advice of his brothers, who have also all moved into the 18th arrondissement from other parts of Paris. He was immediately taken with the apartment's fresh, modern feel and is pleased to be able to share it with travelers from around the world.
