Paula Caballero and Darrin Scheid are American journalists and real estate addicts who vacationed in Paris for many years before starting Frenchy Rentals. Paula, a California native and graduate of UC-Santa Barbara and UC-San Diego, was a journalist with the Fort Worth Star-Telegram for more than a decade in sports and news. Darrin, a Missouri native and graduate of UT-Arlington, also worked at the Fort Worth Star-Telegram and later as a magazine editor, and currently holds a real estate salesperson license in Texas.
Paula holds down the fort in Paris (she's likely the one you'll meet on your arrival day), while Darrin spends his time back in the states in Dallas. They work together to keep things running smoothly so renters feel at home here in Paris and always provide guests with their best tips on the neighborhood!
American colleague Holly Tisseyre helps out with emails and greeting guests during busy periods - she's a Montmartre resident, too!
We've also partnered with Ruben Elmaleh at www.parisrentalsbyruben.com to help new French owners with their apartment management needs. Ruben speaks four languages, and brings two decades of experience as owner/manager in the restaurant and hotel industries.
